A little bit about us

Meet Robyn & Rachelle - Specialist Physiotherapists

R&R was founded in 2025 after Rachelle and Robyn combined their shared goals of opening a dedicated Physiotherapy-led Pilates studio in East Surrey.

“Our mission is to create a supportive and welcoming community where everyone can thrive. Whether you’re working towards fitness goals, recovering from an injury or managing a chronic condition.”

Reformer Pilates is a powerful tool that not only improves strength and flexibility but also aids in injury rehabilitation and long-term health management. With their expert guidance of over 15 years of clinical experience, you can expect your sessions to unlock your bodies full potential in a safe and effective way

Robyn

Robyn graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Physiotherapy and brings over a decade of clinical experience gathered across working in Hong Kong, Singapore and London. She is a certified Polestar Pilates for Rehabilitation practitioner, embodying her belief "let exercise be your medicine."

Robyn began her Physiotherapy career at a large public hospital in Singapore, where she encountered a diverse range of acute, chronic and traumatic musculoskeletal injuries. She later moved into the private sector to focus on incorporating Pilates into her rehabilitation work, allowing her to pursue her passion for healing through movement.

With a strong interest in running and fitness, Robyn understands the importance of helping clients perform at their best while remaining injury-free. She believes that combining Physiotherapy with Pilates provides an excellent strategy for those recovering from injuries or seeking to enhance their athletic performance. With a background in physiology and kinesiology, Robyn skillfully integrates hands-on techniques such as myofascial release or dry needling with the active benefits of Pilates exercises.

Rachelle

Rachelle is a highly experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with specialist expertise in Pelvic Health.

Her career began with a degree in Psychology from Keele University, where she developed a strong interest in the link between mental and physical well-being through movement and exercise. This passion led her to complete a second degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Brighton in 2009.

Rachelle built a strong foundation in musculoskeletal physiotherapy early in her career, working across the NHS and private sector in roles spanning orthopaedics and hand therapy.

For the past five years, she has specialised in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy—a focus inspired by her own experiences during pregnancy and postnatal recovery. She currently continues to work in the NHS alongside her private practice, supporting women through pregnancy, the postnatal period, and menopause.

While pelvic health is now her primary area of focus, Rachelle continues to treat a range of musculoskeletal conditions, drawing on over a decade of experience in MSK practice. She takes a practical, personalised approach to care, helping all patients—whether dealing with pelvic or general MSK issues—rebuild strength, confidence, and long-term well-being.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys horse riding, which reflects her ongoing interest in body mechanics and movement. As a mother of two, Rachelle brings both clinical expertise and personal insight to her pelvic health work, offering empathetic, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s needs.
