Reform your body, revolutionise your strength
What is reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates is a whole body workout using a specialised machine known as a reformer to carry out specific movements of a Pilates exercise routine.
The reformer resembles a bed-like apparatus equipped with a foot bar, carriage, pulleys and adjustable springs. The springs can be customised to match your fitness level and offer assistance to your body during workouts, enabling a larger range of motion than usually achievable without the support of the machine.
This popular low-impact exercise method, created by Joseph Pilates, integrates core stability, strength, flexibility, balance, and emphasises alignment through mindfulness, breathing practices, and smooth movement flow.
How Physio-led Pilates works
Step 1
Class Introduction
All clients are required to complete a 45 minute class introduction prior to attending any reformer class.
This is a one on one session with a Physiotherapist where we will conduct a thorough assessment of your posture, movement patterns and muscle endurance.
You will also be guided through essential exercises on the reformer machine, tailored to your individual needs.
We believe this personalized approach is the perfect way to gain a deeper understanding of your body, fine-tune your goals and ensure optimal safety when using the reformer machines.
Step 2
